Birds, Bugs, and Flowers Workshop

Join Kanella (Kandy) Otto on Monday, July 7 at Woodwalk gallery for her cooper tooling workshop Birds, Bugs, and Flowers! This unique process involves working with copper, manipulating the material to create shapes and textures before applying natural patinas to bring out the details.

This two hour class begins at 4:30pm.

Included in the class: Drinks + little bites, all materials + frame for your finished piece.

Click here to Reserve YOUR Seat!

Fun for artists of any level. This metal art form involves using a thin sheet of copper foil that gets embossed into a recognizable image based on the range of templates provided ie; flowers and birds. Creating a low and high relief work of art from copper is easier than you think. Join us for a fun time at the beautiful Woodwalk Gallery.

EggStravaganza Live Auction: Don’t Ovoid Egg Harbor

Join us for the LIVE AUCTION of the copper egg by Kanella (Kandy) Otto titled ‘Don’t Ovoid Egg Harbor.’ The design of the egg was thoughtfully made for the 2025 Egg Harbor EggStravaganza.

Artist Statement:

Egg Harbor is a hidden gem in Door County that’s got a bit of everything: small-town charm, gorgeous waterfront views, and a vibrant arts and food scene. My favorite spots are captured in the panels of copper repoussé - Sunset at Bay View Terrace, Vibrant Main St, and Moonlight Over the Marina. The copper is painted with enamels and finished with an all-weather glaze. Where does Door County start? For me, my love of Door County is rooted in Egg Harbor. With this egg creation, I hope people Don’t “Ovoid” Egg Harbor.

Egg Location:

7840 Church St, Egg Harbor

Egg Sponsor:

Eames Farm Neighbors
